Ontario Premier, Doug Ford has been able to skate on all the perceived corruption around his PC party because there really hasn’t been a smoking gun (guns).

But, if this translated and transcribed video of one of his faithful political servants, Sarah Bokhari, running to be his MPP in Hamilton center is what it sounds like it is, we might have our first “quid pro quo” caught on tape.

We reached out to Ms Bokhari for comment and haven’t heard back.

I understand this is a voicemail that Ms. Bokhari left for a constituent demanding some tribute or “donation” in return for a favor on a file belonging to the constituent—possibly a land deal.

In the video, Ms Bokhari is heard (in her native language) telling the constituent to ante up or she will not help him with the “file.”

100 dollars, 50 Rupees, or 50 cents. The amount didn’t matter. What mattered was the loyalty that the donation would cost.

WILD. I can’t imagine this is an isolated incident, with the Ontario PCs mired in years-long allegations of the same variety. With the Ontario election two days away, I wonder if Ontarians are OK with more of this if we give the Ontario PCs another four-year mandate.
