Auston Matthews due in court tomorrow in Arizona for Disorderly Conduct Charge (Not A Bar Fight…Carry On)

***Update.
Matthews allegedly pulled his pants down in front of a security guard trying to get into a condo and this is after he scared her outside in her vehicle.
He pulled his pants down in front of a female security guard after jiggling the door handle of her car at 2am… apparently she was a military vet with severe PTSD

The previous post below was a rumored report which is why we used question marks in the title. We knew the court date was happening before any other network, and wanted to make sure we got this news out to our fans, and we did exactly that.
Oh, boy, let the “he’s not captain material’ discussion begin in Leafs Nation.
Auston Matthews is due in court tomorrow in Arizona for disorderly conduct/disruptive behavior and or fighting, that much we know. The charge was filed in Arizona in July, and could be one of the many reasons, Coach Babcock made his second trip to Arizona this summer.

Word is Matthews won’t appear in court, as his Lawyer will handle those duties, and at this time, he’s expected to play tomorrow night vs Montreal.
Matthews has been rumoured to be named the captain of the Maple Leafs in the coming weeks, and you have to wonder if these charges will have any influence on that decision.
No word yet if Paul Marner is demanding Mitch receive the same charges.
