Band-Aid Apologizes For 100 Years Of Racist Products With Some Pretty Sweet Bi-Racial Band-Aids

Raise your hand if you had Band-Aid on your list of company that has, by today’s standards, been incidentally racist for 100 years

It’s sort of a mind fuck to think that there never has been a different flesh color bandaid ever.  Or Is it, because the clear Band-Aid addressed the cost associated with multiple Band-Aids if you consider the smarter more business-minded neutral approach.

But yeah, of course, we should have all flesh-colored Band-Aids (if Band-Aid is making flesh-colored products) of all different flesh colors (within reason).

It makes perfect sense and maybe I’m still ignorant and full of the old ‘white privilege’, but I’m shocked I hadn’t thought about how weird it is, until now.

Back in 2015 there was a petition going around Sweden alleging Band-Aid was racist detailed in this now very clearly racist blog below about how that was impossible because they made ‘clear ones’.

Those Racist Band-Aids!

All hail Sweden for being on the racist Band-Aid tip 5 years before the revolution.

And a good call from Banda-Aid.  Inclusive is always in.
