Banning Fox News, Regulating X/META in Canada, Is a National Security Imperative. We’re at War…
Canada is at War with America. Trump and his Broligarchs are already calling Canada “the 51st state”, refusing to call the PM anything but Governor and becoming the first President in history to announce he plans on Taking Canada “by force.”
That’s war.
Pierre Poilievre as PM is the key to the annexation of Canada.
That’s why Elon is promoting Pierre For PM. It’s a blitzkrieg against Canadian sovereignty, democracy.

Trump Media is pivotal in shaping public opinion, driving public discourse, and influencing political landscapes. In Canada, questions are increasingly being raised about the unchecked influence of outlets like Fox News and social media giants like X (formerly Twitter) and Meta (Facebook). Trump Media now includes two of the wealthiest men on the Planet – Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk who both recently committed their platforms to Trump and MAGA to protect their interests and to chart a new course to turn North America, including Greenland, into the Empire of America, Starting with mineral-rich Canada.
Fox/X and META need to be banned and regulated in Canada now. We proved we could ban terrorist foreign media when we banned RT. Brazil proved you could ban social media companies when they told Musk to go fuck his hat, and Australia proved Mark Zuckerburg to be a pussy when they banned FB for a month before he gave them what they wanted.
Now it’s Canada’s turn.
This isn’t about silencing free speech—it’s about safeguarding Canada’s democracy, sovereignty, and cultural identity in an era of rampant disinformation and extremism. Fox News, X, and META have opened the floodgates and won’t stop Gaslighting Canadians until they Annex/Invade or otherwise OWN Canada.
I propose Canada and the CRTC ban Fox News right now.
No different than banning RT at this point.

Canada must decisively regulate or ban harmful media influences, with specific examples and parallels to past actions, such as the ban on Russia’s RT.
Fox News and the Polarization of Public Opinion
Fox News has consistently been criticized for its editorial bias, focusing on hyper-partisan narratives. Here are just a few of the lies Fox News and their MAGA-owned hosts have spread to damage and destroy global faith in Canada and its institutions:
-
- Misinformation During the COVID-19 Pandemic
- Claim: Fox News frequently painted Canada’s COVID-19 response as authoritarian, focusing on vaccine mandates and lockdowns. For example, the network sensationalized Canada’s vaccine policies, equating them to “tyranny.”
- Reality: Canada implemented public health measures based on scientific guidance, similar to many other countries. These measures were broadly supported domestically and aimed at protecting public health.
- Impact: Such misrepresentation fueled anti-vaccine and anti-government sentiment, polarizing audiences and promoting distrust in public health initiatives.
- The Trucker Convoy Protests (2022)
- Claim: Fox News repeatedly framed the “Freedom Convoy” as a grassroots uprising against tyranny, often omitting details about its links to extremist groups and foreign funding.
- Reality: The convoy received significant support from U.S.-based far-right groups, with some participants advocating for the overthrow of Canada’s government. Most who took part in the convoy are now advocating for a US’ takeover’ of Canada after calling themselves Patriots for bringing Canada to its knees for three weeks.
- Impact: Fox News’ one-sided coverage polarized public opinion in both Canada and the US, emboldening anti-government extremism and undermining legitimate Canadian governance.
- Narratives on Canadian Healthcare
- Claim: Fox News has long criticized Canada’s universal healthcare system, labeling it as “socialist” and implying it leads to poor outcomes, including long wait times and lack of care.
- Reality: While challenges exist, Canadian healthcare consistently outperforms the US system regarding affordability, access, and overall public satisfaction.
- Impact: These misleading claims are used to polarize US audiences, turning Canadian healthcare into a boogeyman to discredit any push for universal healthcare in the US.
- Canada as “Soft on Crime”
- Claim: Fox News has portrayed Canada as a haven for criminality and leniency, often exaggerating or fabricating claims about crime rates or immigration policies.
- Reality: Canada has comparatively low crime rates and a well-regulated immigration system. Such narratives often lack evidence and ignore Canada’s stricter gun control laws, which contribute to public safety.
- Impact: These narratives frame Canada as an ideological “failure,” sowing division and mistrust among conservative audiences.
- “Half” of Canada wants to become part of America.
- Misinformation During the COVID-19 Pandemic
-
- Under Elon Musk’s ownership, X has rolled back content moderation, reinstated accounts of previously banned far-right extremists, and allowed hate speech and misinformation to flourish.
- Example: Anti-Canadian narratives, including conspiracy theories about our healthcare, multicultural policies, and environmental regulations, are now more prominent.
-
-
- LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL.

-
National Security Risks of Harmful Media
Just as RT served as a propaganda arm for the Kremlin, Fox News/X and META often echo narratives aligned with Trump’s MAGA agenda. These narratives present risks to Canada and EVERY Canadian regardless of ideology, who you vote for, or where you live.
-
-
- Annexation Rhetoric: Trump has joked about invading Canada or annexing it as the “51st state.” While these remarks may sound outlandish, Fox News gives these ideas a platform, normalizing extremist ideologies that could embolden radical factions.
- MAGA Ideology Spread: Fox News frequently amplifies “America First” rhetoric, which implicitly positions Canada as subordinate to US interests. Such narratives could weaken Canada’s sovereignty in the minds of some Canadians.
-
The US Capitol insurrection on January 6, 2021, is a stark example of the dangers of unchecked disinformation. Fox News, X, META, OAN, and others amplified false claims about the 2020 election, directly contributing to the chaos. Imagine the consequences if similar narratives took root in Canada, particularly regarding:
-
-
- Canadian Elections: Misinformation campaigns targeting voter fraud could destabilize public trust in Canada’s electoral system.
- Hate Crimes: Antisemitic incidents in Canada increased by 109.1% in 2023, with attacks on Jewish institutions like Congregation Beth Tikvah and a Jewish Community Center in Montreal. Media narratives that fuel hate and conspiracy theories can escalate violence against vulnerable communities.
-
Let’s not leave Elon and Mark Zuckerberg out of the mix: X and Meta’s Role
Fox News doesn’t act alone—it operates in an ecosystem where social media platforms like X and Meta amplify harmful content. Especially the day after Zuck just told the world he’s dedicating META to doing MAGA’s bidding.
-
Wow.
Mark Zuckerberg just announced FB, IG and Threads are officially done fact checking, moderating content. Plan to work with Trump to penalize anyone who stands against USA/FB’s interests.
Now you know why FB throttles news feeds in Canada.

- In the modern age, war isn’t always waged with tanks and missiles—it’s often fought in the digital realm, where misinformation, polarization, and manipulation become the tools of destruction. Canada, a bastion of democracy and diversity, faces an unprecedented challenge: the rise of social media platforms like X (formerly Twitter) and Meta (Facebook) as battlegrounds for ideological warfare. With recent changes to their moderation policies and their alignment with far-right ideologies like Trump’s MAGA movement, these platforms pose a direct threat to Canada’s sovereignty.
Trump’s Unofficial “War” on Canada: A Digital Invasion
Former US President Donald Trump has made inflammatory comments about Canada, including suggestions of annexation and reducing our nation to the “51st state.” While these comments might seem like bluster, they signal a growing ideological threat. Trump’s rhetoric isn’t confined to speeches—it finds fertile ground on platforms like X and Meta, where divisive narratives can spread like wildfire.
By deregulating content moderation, both platforms have become breeding grounds for disinformation, hate speech, and extremist ideologies that align with MAGA’s vision of destabilizing neighboring democracies like Canada.
Why X and Meta Are a Threat to Canada’s Sovereignty
1. Deregulated Moderation Policies
Recent changes to moderation policies on X and Meta have turned these platforms into wild frontiers where anything goes. Meta has reduced investments in content moderation, particularly in non-U.S. markets. This creates vulnerabilities where disinformation targeting Canada can thrive unchecked. Under Elon Musk’s ownership, X has rolled back content moderation, reinstated accounts of previously banned far-right extremists, and allowed hate speech and misinformation to flourish.
Both X and Meta are uniquely equipped to shape public opinion through algorithms designed to amplify polarizing content:
-
-
- Algorithmic Bias: These platforms prioritize engagement, which means sensationalist and extremist content is pushed to the forefront. Narratives that undermine Canadian sovereignty—like conspiracy theories about annexation or “Canada as a failed state”—are given disproportionate visibility.
- Echo Chambers: Users are funneled into ideological bubbles, reinforcing divisive narratives and fostering distrust in Canadian institutions.
-
Both platforms have a history of enabling disinformation campaigns that can erode trust in democracy because it’s in the best interest of Mark Zuckerberg, Elon Musk, and Jeff Bezos interests to do so.
-
-
- Election Interference: X and Meta have previously been implicated in election meddling, including the 2016 US presidential election. Similar tactics have been deployed in Canada to destabilize our electoral process.
- Anti-Government Narratives: Disinformation campaigns targeting Canada’s leadership, from public health policies to immigration, are already spreading on these platforms, sowing distrust and division. The Conservative Party of Canada (MAPLEMAGA) has been using these narratives to erode trust in our institutions, leading to not one but two inquiries into whether or not the Conservatives have been “Captured” by foreign interests ahead of this year’s election.
-
How Are X and Meta Are Being Used Used Against Canada
-
-
- Spreading Disinformation About Sovereignty
- Trump’s rhetoric about annexing Canada finds fertile ground on X and Meta, with users amplifying these narratives to destabilize public trust in Canadian governance.
- Example: Posts falsely claiming Canada is economically dependent on the US or that Canadian leadership secretly colludes with foreign powers erode confidence in our government.
- MAGA has effectively spent the better part of the last four years labeling Trudeau and MAPLEMAGA (Pierre Poilievre’s Conservatives) as dictators. He’s the farthest thing from it. On a recent trip to Chicago, my Uber driver asked what it was like living in a socialist dictatorship. I told him I live in Canada, a social democracy. He said he was only repeating what he saw on Facebook.
- 11% of Canadians are amenable to becoming the “51st State.” Pre-Social media, that number was around 2%.
- Stoking Division Within Canada
- Targeting Multiculturalism: Platforms can amplify narratives that pit different cultural or ethnic groups against each other, undermining Canada’s diverse and inclusive identity.
- Polarizing Key Issues: From Indigenous rights to environmental policies, X and Meta can be weaponized to create divisions that weaken Canada’s unity.
- Weakening Canadian Democracy
- Election Meddling: X and Meta are spreading false information about candidates, voting processes, or election results, similar to tactics used in the US and elsewhere. The goal is to create a regime or leadership change that is friendly to Musk, Zuckerburg, and MAGA’s interests in making Canada part of the New American Empire.
- Undermining Trust in Media: These platforms can discredit legitimate Canadian news outlets by promoting conspiracy theories and “fake news” narratives, leaving citizens vulnerable to disinformation.
- Amplifying Hate Speech
- Recent spikes in antisemitism and hate crimes in Canada highlight the real-world consequences of unchecked hate speech online. Platforms like X and Meta have done little to curb this trend, enabling extremist groups to coordinate and recruit. Canada has reported a 670% Increase in hate crimes against Canada’s Jewish Community associated with violent rhetoric propagated specifically on X/META that furthers conspiracies and myths associated with Jewish Canadians.
- Spreading Disinformation About Sovereignty
-
The Path Forward: Why Regulation or a Ban Is Necessary
-
-
- Protecting Sovereignty
- By regulating or banning platforms that actively undermine Canadian sovereignty, Canada can take a firm stance against foreign ideological interference.
- Preventing Misinformation
- Strict regulations can require platforms to implement robust content moderation, particularly for disinformation targeting Canadian democracy and institutions.
- Safeguarding Public Discourse
- Regulation can ensure that platforms prioritize factual, constructive content over divisive and extremist narratives.
- Defending National Security
- As digital platforms become tools for ideological warfare, banning or heavily regulating X and Meta would be akin to securing Canada’s digital borders against external threats.
- Algorithmic Amplification: Both platforms reward engagement, often prioritizing sensational and divisive content. Posts containing misinformation are more likely to go viral, perpetuating false narratives.
- Failure to Moderate Content: During the “Freedom Convoy” protests in Canada, platforms like Facebook became hotbeds for conspiracy theories, ranging from QAnon to anti-government rhetoric.
- Foreign Interference: Meta and X have been criticized for their inability to prevent foreign actors from spreading disinformation. In 2023, Meta removed a network of fake accounts linked to China that targeted Canadian politics. Zuckerburg just toasted his entire fact-checking department, announcing that META will no longer prevent anyone from posting anything they want on Facebook, primarily if it serves the interests of META/Trump/USA.
- Protecting Sovereignty
-
-
- In the modern age, war isn’t always waged with tanks and missiles—it’s often fought in the digital realm, where misinformation, polarization, and manipulation become the tools of destruction.
- Under Elon Musk’s ownership, X has rolled back content moderation, reinstated accounts of previously banned far-right extremists, and allowed hate speech and misinformation to flourish.
- Canada’s strength lies in its unity and diversity. Allowing foreign narratives to infiltrate public discourse threatens this foundation. Fox News/X/META thrives on divisive narratives, often framing multiculturalism as a threat rather than a strength. In Canada, this could lead to:
-
-
- Polarization: A divided society that sees immigration and diversity as liabilities instead of assets.
- Marginalization: Minority communities feel increasingly unsafe due to the normalization of hate speech.
-
Trump’s MAGA movement has openly targeted Canada’s independence. By amplifying these narratives, Fox News erodes Canada’s ability to stand apart from US ideologies.
Why This Isn’t Censorship
Critics may argue that banning Fox News infringes on freedom of expression. It’s not. It’s a wartime measure, and we’ve done it countless times in the best interest of our security and sovereignty. Any person who hides behind “Free Speech” to posion a society or claims “censorship” for standing up for our National Security is a fucking traitor.
-
-
- Regulation ≠ Silencing: Canada isn’t banning dissent; it’s regulating disinformation and extremism. Free speech ends where incitement to harm begins. It’s in our fucking Charter.
- Protecting Public Trust: Canada can restore trust in legitimate journalism and public institutions by curbing harmful media.
- Trump Declared War on Canada: With Trump and MAGAMerica announcing they plan on forcing a takeover of Canada, we’re at war. The first thing to go in wartime? Outside interference in Canadian information and media. It’s been like that for every war in the information age. Everywhere. Forever.
-
Steps Canada Can Take
-
-
- Ban or Regulate Fox News
- Conduct thorough investigations to determine whether Fox News content violates Canadian standards for hate speech and disinformation.
- Remove Fox News from Canadian airwaves and digital platforms, similar to RT’s ban, if necessary.
- Regulate Social Media Platforms
- Introduce legislation requiring X and Meta to take accountability for the spread of harmful content.
- Enforce transparency around algorithmic amplification and demand proactive moderation of hate speech.
- Develop software at the IP level that curtails or prevents harmful lies and narratives meant to incite violence, hatred, and chaos among the citizens of this great nation.
- Promote Media Literacy
Being able to identify hoaxes, avoid scams and debunk propaganda is a civic skill required in today’s information society. That’s why the curriculum of students in Finland includes media literacy lessons, aimed at safeguarding a precious resource: the truth.

- Launch nationwide campaigns to educate Canadians about recognizing misinformation and evaluating media critically.
- Fuck, teach it as part of the school curriculum starting in the first grade. Finland does it. They’re one of the happiest nations on earth.
- Support Local Journalism: Increase funding and tax cuts for Canadian media outlets, prioritizing factual reporting and diverse perspectives to ensure they can compete with foreign media.
- Ban or Regulate Fox News
-
The Fight for Canada’s Future
Canada’s sovereignty and unity depend on our ability to navigate the challenges of harmful media influences. Regulating or banning Fox News and holding social media giants accountable isn’t just a defensive move—it’s an investment in Canada’s democratic future.
By standing firm against disinformation, extremism, and foreign interference, Canada can ensure that its values of diversity, inclusivity, and independence remain intact. We can create a media landscape that informs, empowers, and unites rather than divides.
It’s time to act, Canada. Let’s safeguard our nation—one informed decision at a time.
