Phaneuf and Thompson for Gaborik and Shore. Sens retain 25% of Phaneuf salary.

Elisha is going to have lots of time to work on her tan, and Dion gets to play some meaningful hockey. Win-win trade.
Nice of the Sens to retain money, he still isn’t worth the price. Everyone should feel bad for Gaborik though. Poor guy goes from playing in LA to having to drive into Kanata. What a difference a day makes.
Dion was heavily chirped in Toronto and some of it was certainly warranted.
Regardless of the pressure of being the Captain, he would admit that he probably could of hit the net more. Or, made one or two more outlet passes. Frustrating to watch at times, and then add Paul Romanuk into the mix and some nights were a grind.
It’s always important to be nice to people so we are glad he gets to enjoy the sun, maybe he’ll be back in Toronto sometime late May. Elisha, too.
