Global: Ontario’s COVID-19 Science Advisory Table says the fourth wave in the province has “flattened” and has released what it described as a “wide range” of case projections into the fall.

In the modelling released Tuesday, the group said new cases, hospitalizations and intensive care unit occupancy overall are not increasing. It attributed the flattening of the fourth wave to continued public health measures and vaccinations.

The science table did say, however, that cases among children are increasing.

“There is a wide range for case projections, reflecting the fragile situation and high degree of instability as colder weather approaches with more time indoors,” a document released by the group read.

Isn’t it nice to read that on a sunny Wednesday in beautiful southern Ontario?

Ontarians are 80% FULLY vaccinated and numbers continue to climb as we crawl out of this dirge.  I’m not going to shit on Doug Ford or anti-vaxxers because WE did this while they were fucking their hats.

We did this because we give a shit and you have no fucking idea how comforting it is know that 80% of Ontarians are interested in the greater good as opposed to their own selfish bullshit.

The backstop in this pandemic wasn’t the government.  It was YOU.  You fought for the greater good and put yourself in the mix for change by being selfless.  You looked for vaccine clinics online for months.  You booked those appointments.  You defied asshole anti0vax family members and now YOU get to go out for dinner anywhere you want, anytime you want, AND live a long and fruitful life.

Or not.  You don’t control when you die.  No one does.

That’s what makes this so exciting!
