Burger King’s “Pride Month Buns” Ad Is Causing Problems

It’s Pride month around the world and Burger King in Austria tried to promote equality across the board by coming out with a pride month burger featuring Whoppers with all tops or bottom buns for your burger.

Clever, right?

Or, you don’t have a sense of humor and you’re these asshats.

I asked my friend Rob Gill if this ad offended him or anyone he knows in the LGBTQ community and this was his response.

“I think it’s a (strange) stab at equality by having the same bun on both sides. However, I also think they did this on purpose, fully knowing that social media would latch on to the whole tops/bottoms thing. From an advertising perspective, it’s clever.”

I think we need to get to a point where sexuality doesn’t matter where common sense is concerned. Every reasonable person I know, regardless of sexual preference, thinks this Burger King ad is a supportive, inclusive, marketing home run.

The ad promotes equality while making the socially active victim class insane with Twitter rage which is exactly what Burger King, Austria wanted. You arguing over its sensitivity or lack thereof which is a bullshit argument.

Uber-Woke virtue signaling by people who hate everything always.

This may come as a surprise, but every community has extremists and morons who misrepresent the whole, and any human being who wastes time complaining about bun tops and bottoms and what it REALLY means, is a moron.

At least that’s what every LGBTQ person I trust, has said and I’m with anyone who applies common sense to an advertisement with mixed burger buns promoting equality while being cheeky.
