Canada is the New Ukraine: Trump’s Threats Mirror Putin’s Invasion Playbook for a Reason

Feb 13, 2025

And if you’re one of those “fuck Ukraine, that’s not our war – it’s a faraway land” dickheads – get ready because it is now, and that was the entire fucking point.

Some of you may experience what it’s like to be in Ukraine sooner than you think. Not so far away now, huh?

Trump has intensified his efforts to annex Canada as the 51st state of the United States, and he’s starting that process with his friend Vladimir Putin. Yesterday, Trump told Ukraine to give up and give Russia the land they stole while Russian orcs raped, murdered, and tortured their way across Ukraine while kidnapping 20k Ukrainian children in the process. In doing so, Trump pissed on the graves of hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians; he took a giant dump on the sacrifice of millions of Americans/Allies to die fighting for the sovereignty of every one of our democratic allies from the past 100 years.

Trump’s Annexation Ambitions

Trump has repeatedly suggested that Canada would benefit from becoming the 51st U.S. state, citing economic and security advantages. He has threatened to impose a 25% tariff on Canadian imports, attributing this move to concerns over border security and the fentanyl crisis. However, there has been no crisis. These issues are pretexts for a more aggressive agenda to control Canada’s abundant natural resources. Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has firmly rejected these proposals, stating there is “not a snowball’s chance in hell” that Canada would join the U.S.

But there is.

Trump/Putin knows the way to conquer Canada is from within, and to make Canada an American colony, they’ll need some earnest cooperation from Canadian elites and politicians who stand to gain more than they lose should MAGAmerica invade Canada. Physically, economically, or both.

Trump is coming to Canada because we couldn’t stop Putin in Ukraine, and 25% of Americans voted for a Dictator President who is planning to invade our country after settling some scores with media outlets, law enforcement, and anyone who dared call him what he is, over the past four years: a Rapist, Felon, and a Traitor.

If he’s coming for his people, he doesn’t give a fuck about us. He wants our shit.

Capitulating to Putin

Trump has engaged in negotiations with Russian President Vladimir Putin to end the war in Ukraine. If we’re being honest, he’s been planning this with Putin and Musk for years. Notably, these discussions have occurred without the direct involvement of Ukrainian leadership. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has emphasized that Ukraine will not accept any peace agreements negotiated without its participation, asserting that external powers should not decide the nation’s future.

None of that matters to Trump/Putin/XI. It’s empire making time, and Dotard Trump controls the world’s biggest military/economy and has the power to end sanctions, restoring Russia’s ability to rebuild, re-arm and run over other EU countries after they bring Ukraine to its knees. Which they won’t.

Canada Today is What Ukraine was Three Years ago.

The actions of President Trump and President Putin reveal a troubling parallel: both leaders appear intent on expanding their nations’ influence at the expense of sovereign countries. Putin’s invasion of Ukraine and Trump’s annexation rhetoric toward Canada suggest a shared disregard for the autonomy of neighboring states. This raises concerns about a potential alignment between Russia and the U.S. under Trump’s leadership, aiming to reshape global power structures in their favor.

Dictatorial Tendencies and Sovereign Overreach

Trump claims everything. That’s what dictators do. They announce that they own things by their omniscience.

Elections. Reality. Real Estate. Even countries – like Palestine.

Trump’s assertion that he has the authority to determine the future of sovereign states is evident in his recent comments about “owning” Gaza and transforming it into the “Riviera of the Middle East.” Such statements reflect a pattern of behavior more characteristic of dictatorial regimes, undermining the principles of national self-determination and international law.

Canada now faces a situation reminiscent of Ukraine’s experience – GAZA’s, too. The looming threat of annexation by a more powerful neighbor has brought Canadians a newfound sense of vulnerability. We’re scared. And we should be. This development is a stark reminder that no nation is immune to the threat of external aggression. It’s not just a stark reminder that Canada might not be able to determine its future; it disorients Canadians. We’ve been a haven for war-torn countries who’ve been raped and pillaged by dictatorial regimes for 100 years. It was a source of Pride and comfort.

“Those people” are now us. Canadians whose security, culture, and way of life are being threatened with being forcibly taken over by a superpower that only wants to plunder our resources while subjugating us to an existence, not of our choosing. Like GAZA, Ukraine, and all of Europe in WW2. It’s here now.

Canadians should start getting comfortable with the notion of sacrifice if the sacrifice of their parents and grandparents means anything to them.

This is a global war; the starter pistol went off three weeks ago, and it’s at our doorstep.
