China Makes Covid-19 Anal Swabs Mandatory For All Foreign Travellers And Japan Is Begging them To Stop Because ‘It Hurts’

NYPOST: China has made anal COVID-19 swabs mandatory for all foreign travelers arriving in the country, a report said Wednesday.

The government has claimed that such tests provide a higher degree of accuracy than other screening methods for the virus, the Times UK reported.

As part of the new travel requirement, there will be testing hubs in Beijing and Shanghai airports, the outlet reported.

Li Tongzeng, a respiratory disease medic, said the anal swabs are better because virus traces stay in fecal samples longer than they do in the nose or throat, state media reported.

The move comes after Japan asked China to stop performing the exams on its citizens when they enter the country because the swabs cause mental anguish.

“Some Japanese reported to our embassy in China that they received anal swab tests, which caused a great psychological pain,” Katsunobu Kato, Japan’s chief cabinet secretary, told a news conference.

There you go.

What a power move by the Chinese Communist Party.  In an effort to keep prying eyes out of their country, the CPC is forcing any and every foreign traveler coming into China to get a COVID19 anal swab.

Not that I’m planning to visit China anytime soon, but the forced anal swab would be a deal-breaker if I was and that’s what China wants.

Japan has a long history of abusing the Chinese People (see the Rape Of Nanking) so their anal swabs were probably a little more invasive than normal so you can guarantee this new measure serves more than one purpose.

Science says anal swabbing is one of the worst ways to test for a respiratory infection, so you know this is China just trying to stick things in people’s asses as a warning to any non-communist coming into the country.

Source: Dr. Gary W. Procop, MS, medical director and co-chair of the Cleveland Clinic’s Enterprise Laboratory Stewardship Committee and director of Molecular Microbiology, Virology, Mycology and Parasitology, is currently responsible for COVID-19 testing at his facility.

He told Healthline that “although the virus may be found in the stool, going to the focus of infection (i.e., the source) is preferred for specimen collection.”

Procop says that “at least one early study supports respiratory specimens as superior to the other end of the alimentary canal.”

“I think we’re far enough into this pandemic, and there is a substantial amount of data out there now saying that that’s the best source if you’re trying to figure out who has acute disease,” Garner added.

“Right away, in the very early days of the pandemic, when we were sending samples to the CDC for testing, they asked for lots of different samples,” said Garner.

“They’d ask for stool, they’d ask for urine, they’d ask for respiratory swabs, they’d ask for blood, because this question was still trying to be determined: What samples should we test?” he said.

“But it became very apparent, like most other respiratory viruses, the most accurate place to find it is in the upper respiratory tract, so this is why I was a little bit surprised and confused by the reports coming out on large scale anal swab testing.”

I don’t hate the move.  I think we would benefit from using the same procedure on anti-masking Canadians who come down COVID19.  It would be a great way to impress the seriousness of the pandemic upon the dumber segment of Canada while making them question their decision making for a few painful, invasive seconds.

And let’s save the big swabs for real ‘assholes’ like Adam Skelly and Randy Hillier. It might be their last sexual experience before they get hooked up to a ventilator, so let’s make it count.

Yes, guy,
