CBS: Bills wideout Cole Beasley does not agree with the NFL’s new COVID-19 protocols. The updated guidelines, announced recently after an agreement between the league and the NFL Players Association, significantly loosen restrictions on players and staff who’ve been fully vaccinated for COVID, while upholding many of 2020’s requirements — social distancing, masking, etc. — for those who’ve not been vaccinated. On Friday, a day after tweeting critiques of the protocols, Beasley said he’s prepared to walk away from the game over the issue, noting in a statement that he’s OK being “forced into retirement” because of his stances on COVID.
“Hi, I’m Cole Beasley, and I’m not vaccinated!” wrote the veteran wideout, who earned second-team All-Pro honors in 2020. “I will be outside doing what I do. I’ll be out in the public. If (you’re) scared of me, then steer clear, or get vaccinated. Point. Blank. Period. I may die of COVID, but I’d rather die actually living … I don’t play for the money anymore. Fine me if you want. My way of living and my values are more important to me than a dollar. “I love my teammates and enjoy playing ball because all the outside BS goes out the window in these moments,” he continued. “I just want to win the Super Bowl and enjoy these relationships that will be created along the way. I’m not going to take meds for a leg that isn’t broken. I’d rather take my chances with COVID and build up my immunity that way … That is my choice based on my experiences and what I think is best. I’ll play for free this year to live life the way I’ve lived it from Day 1. If I’m forced into retirement, so be it. I’ve enjoyed the times I’ve had … So either way, it’s a win-win.”
It’s all about being an athlete for Jesus. Cole Beasley loves the lord and hard-core born-agains think they’re sacrificing the kingdom of heaven if they get vaccinated so Cole’s out. That’s cool. He’s old and the Bills have plenty of weapons around Josh Allen who are actual team players that want to win a Superbowl, so whatever. No loss.
The vaccine dilemma is becoming a virtual sorting hat for idiots and morons. I’m not talking about those with legitimate questions or those with a crippling fear of needles. I’m talking about the indignant religious zealot whose cult is more important than bringing a championship to the city of Buffalo. Cole’s decision also says he’s really NOT a team guy.
Cole Beasley has probably ingested a million different chemicals in pursuit of peak athletic performance, yet he’s not interested in the vaccine. The difference? Jesus.
Cole thinks if he gets the vaccine, Jesus won’t let him into heaven if and when he dies and eternal life after death is the finish line for born again’s like Cole. Cole also doesn’t understand how the virus spreads when his moral equivalent to substantiate his position is a car accident.
I didn’t say it was pointless. If you want to get it then do so. I’m not encouraging you to not get it just let me live my life regardless of If get it or not. I don’t wanna die in a car wreck during the season without getting to actually live my normal life. https://t.co/YdilqtSfXq

So the Bills might lose their best slot receiver, and if you’re looking to blame someone, point that giant Bills foam finger at Jesus. It’s his fault.
The NFL’s covid guidelines dictate that fully vaccinated players can come and go as they please, while the unvaccinated will be severely restricted.
Then get vaccinated. It’s not hard to understand FFS.
