Conor McGregor Knocked Out The Heat Mascot For Real And The Crowd Was NOT Happy

Jun 10, 2023

Conor McGregor’s appearance at the NBA Finals turned out to be a disappointment for both himself and the Heat’s mascot. The renowned former UFC champion, who had arrived at Game 4 between the Heat and Nuggets at Kaseya Center on Friday night, intended to use an on-court interview during a timeout to announce the official sponsorship of the Miami franchise by his TIDL Sport body spray.

However, as McGregor took the microphone, donning a striking red velvet tracksuit, the atmosphere quickly soured. The crowd of passionate Heat fans, despite Miami trailing by 10 points, showered McGregor with a chorus of boos, making it abundantly clear that they were unimpressed. McGregor, taken aback by the unfavourable response, even mentioned that it was his first time experiencing the energy courtside at an NBA game.

Unfortunately, the ordeal didn’t conclude there.

In an unexpected turn of events, the 34-year-old McGregor found himself facing an unlikely opponent in the form of the Heat’s mascot, Bernie. Sporting eye-catching gold boxing gloves, Bernie appeared to be eager for a confrontation.

As they locked eyes, a brief moment of assessment passed before McGregor let loose a fierce left hook, connecting solidly with Bernie’s head. The force of the blow sent Bernie’s hat flying and sent him sprawling to the ground.

The sudden altercation elicited a collective gasp from the shocked crowd, who responded with an amplified chorus of boos, clearly displeased with the turn of events.
