Cops Looking For Winnipeg Ed Sheeran Impersonator Scamming Churches For $25 and a Sandwich

Mar 6, 2023

The dude even performed. I guess they don’t have Google in churches yet.

I love an excellent impersonation story. Cops. Pilots. Doctors. NHL players. We’ve all pretended to be someone else for attention or to get laid as younger men/women.

But have you ever decided to impersonate Ed Sheeran to church groups for signing gigs in exchange for $25 and a Sandwich?

PLEASE tell me a parishioner at Calvary church recorded “Meth-Ed” Sheeran’s performance.  That’s all I want right now, and I ask for very little. Just 30 seconds of this man doing “Shape of You” in a Winnipeg church for a sammy and $25.

Don’t tell me “Gren Ballsachtler” isn’t the most incredible handle you’ve ever encountered.  Mean kids in elementary school probably had a blast with Gren’s last name. A lifetime of PTSD from carrying around “Ballsachtler” catches up with a guy.

By the way, THIS is Ed Sheeran.

This is Meth-Ed Sheeran. Or “Trainspotting Ed Sheeran”.

You’re welcome.
