Couples Tying The Knot With Pot Is At An All-Time High

Tis the season for weddings and so if you are an attendee, a planner or actually tying the knot – many Cannabis Event Companies and Expos are popping up to join in the Marijuana Matrimony.
Sign me up for a forest adorned in buds and beauty!
Maybe I am new-fashioned but no longer aspire to be white-gowned, tiara adorned, in a church, reciting vows. Seems the statistics for divorces constitute this anarchy to be a recipe for pre-nuptial purgatory.
However, I was perusing within the Canna Curious Wedding google search options, and I have found some spectacular Pinterest worthy alternatives for those who want to wed happily forever after in hemp.
This – I could get down with.
This may come as a shock to the “traditional” types but what is normal anyhow? I say – cannabis is blossoming and when tied to love – well, isn’t that a great way to bloom!
So let’s take a peek at the up and coming Cannabis Wedding Expo that has upcoming stops in Toronto and Boston this Fall. Celebrating it’s 4th year and brings dispensaries, edible companies, bud bars, canna-chefs and cannabis products to the Wedding Industry while providing a platform for traditional wedding vendors to market to Cannabis consumers.
This is a $78 billion-dollar market as merging Wedding Industry within the Cannabis Space vets an all-time high on return! Pun intended…
So grass you say?
Let’s be realistic unless you are surrounded by the coolest friends and families ever or perhaps grew up on a Hippie Hemp Farm, it is more than likely your great Aunt Margaret isn’t going to understand or mesh well with a stoner centric celebration.
So this is where grass is class!
Take this bride who planted the seeds surrounding her big day with a subtle ambience of flowers and – flower.
Or how about this beautiful bud bar, designed to not over complicate but add some extra eye candy to the “sweets” with 5mg of THC and a boutonnière with a sunflower, marijuana leaves and a bud.

Finally – look at this couples venue and the overall environment designed to embody tranquillity, blissful nature and the zen celebration all the guests were able to experience.

Even Aunt Margaret would get down with this Cann’tastic ambience and maybe do a little HokeyTokey on the dance floor after some infused cocktails. (let’s call them mocktails and let’s add CBD I say).
Regardless of the “norm” or this new way of Wedding – I will wish all the happy newlyweds marital bliss and for those popping the question like our own Chris Rooke, CONGRATS!
