After former Governor General David Johnston appeared before committee today, Conservative Party of Canada MP Michael Cooper held a presser, and this happened:

Cooper threw a hissy fit and stormed off after being asked about the leader of His Majesty’s LOYAL Opposition, Pierre Poilievre, refusing to get proper security clearance and to get intel briefings.
(Guess that’s a bit of a touchy subject for PP and the Cons!)
Conservatives, predictably, made a mockery of the committee and showed that they were really in it to 1) discredit Mr. Johnston and 2) shoot some more fundraising vids!
Here’s what Jennifer O’Connell had to say:
"This isn't about foreign interference and protecting our democracy. Because if it was, you know they would ask a serious question, " said @JenOConnell_
"Mr @PierrePoilievre defended your reputation, we can't find anything that has changed in your conduct or behavior.." #Cdnpoli pic.twitter.com/GRCflQRfj0

I guess Michael Cooper was just following the lead of PP, who had this bozo eruption earlier today:
Conservatives attack Mr. Johnston and then also blame Prime Minister Trudeau for subjecting Johnston to such attacks.
This after the video of Poilievre praising Johnston surfaced, which led to this exchange during today’s Question Period:

So does anyone else find it funny that when it comes to this whole foreign interference thing, Conservatives are more focused on discrediting the former Governor General than…you know, preventing any further foreign interference?
