Drama Alert: Deebo Samuel Wipes Instagram of Anything 49ers Related
Just when you think things are settling down, the NFL off-season is back with a vengeance. San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel deleted over 80 pictures on Instagram, and removed anything related to the 49ers.
Deebo Samuel has removed his #49ers profile picture, unfollowed the team, and has deleted over 80 posts (was at 248, now at 164) from his Instagram account.
Deebo is entering the final year of his rookie contract.

I hear a lot of NFL fans whining because we’re still six months away from the regular season kicking off. However, the NFL’s offield drama is so much more entertaining than their on field product. So why are we hoping it’s going to come to an end?
This off-season has been fucking wild. Davante Adams was traded to the Las Vegas Raiders, Tyreek Hill was traded to the Miami Dolphins, there are rumors that the Seattle Seahawks are shopping D.K. Metcalf, and now the Samuel drama.
Deebo is on the final year of his rookie deal, and I have to assume that after he saw the Jacksonville Jaguars over pay for Christian Kirk, while Adams and Hill made a shit ton of money, he probably figures it’s time for Deebo to be paid.

Deebo Samuel is one of the most electric wide receivers in football. Samuel’s skill set goes way beyond just running routes. We’ve seen him come out of the backfield, we’ve seen end arounds, he runs every fucking route on the tree, and he improvises with the best of them. The kids going to get paid, and fucking deserves it.
Deebo Samuel was out of his mind last season

We saw Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray use a similar tactic earlier in the offseason, so it’ll be interesting to see if anything comes from this. But if I’m the 49ers, I am doing everything possible to keep Deebo Samuel in San Francisco.
