TSG: Police say that Dominic Calderon, a 36-year-old registered sex offender, was collared Tuesday night after riding his bicycle up to the female officer, who was standing on an Albuquerque sidewalk.

After Calderon and the cop agreed on $80 as the price for a sexual encounter, Calderon asked the undercover cop for her phone number, explaining that he “did not get paid until Friday.”

Noticing that Calderon was carrying a bag of food from Chili’s, the vice cop asked what was inside. Calderon replied that it was a hamburger, prompting the undercover to propose a barter deal. “I told Dominic that my fee could be the burger,” the cop reported.

When Calderon agreed to the swap, he was arrested for patronizing prostitutes, police report.

That’s bullshit.  There isn’t a guy on this planet, pervert or not, who wouldn’t consider that deal, therefore, this is entrapment and a complete hose job.

I feel sorry for the poor guy.  All he was looking for was a little company and a bite to eat.

Not only did he get suckered into the arrest but his fucking burger is now evidence that he solicited a prostitute.  Are they seriously going to keep that Chili’s burger in an evidence locker for a week until he appears before a judge?  Is this even a crime?  It’s a hamburger.  It’s not crack or fentanyl or crack cut with fentanyl.  It’s more like a trade of goods for services than a transaction and on top of that, the female cop tricked him into the transaction.

We’d all think twice if we had to psychically pull money out of our pocket for sex.  At least I would.  There’s no guarantee the sex is going to be worth the money, and I don’t have a strong desire to spend my free time paying someone for something I can do in 30 seconds for free.

However, if the sex only costs the leftovers in my Chili’s bag, it becomes a serious consideration.

My Dad used to tell say ‘Son if it’s too good to be true, it probably is.”

You would all do well to remember that next time a stranger offers to have sex with you for a sandwich.
