Here’s why Doug and the Ontario Government are refusing to take part in the Emergencies Act Hearing:

His Daughter, friends, and members of his inner circle were involved in planning and executing the Convoy “my friends.”

That’s the only explanation, and it’s accurate.

The Convoy shut down our nation’s capital (In Ontario) and two MAJOR international border crossings (in Ontario). It required a State of Emergency called by Doug Ford, which paved the way for the National State of Emergency – and Doug Ford’s Conservative government doesn’t want to talk about it with the rest of the country?

Do you know how shockingly fucked, entitled, and concerning that is?

I’m old enough to remember the time when Doug Ford used the emergency act first and applauded the use of the Federal Emergencies Act:

In a statement emailed to Global News Monday afternoon, Ford said those participating in “illegal blockades in Ontario and across Canada need to know there are serious consequences for their actions.”

It takes a lot to shock me, and Doug Ford’s refusal to take part in the EA hearing about that time he and the prime minister of Canada had to quell an extremist uprising with the employment of a provincial and federal state of emergency in the province he swore an oath to protect, is fucking BANANAS. It’s as much a dereliction of duty as a passive admission of guilt.

It also says Doug Ford and the Ontario Conservatives don’t give a single fuck about the safety and well-being of the province they serve and the people they swore an oath to protect.
