DTTB Ep.54 – Quiet Crimes. One of Ottawa’s best kept Hard Rock Secrets

Darryl Spring Apr 6, 2021

Simply put, Quiet Crimes RIP!
They’re brand of straight ahead hard rock that feels rooted in the desert with a shot of amphetamines completely resonates with me.  I dig what they do.
I had them on back in episode 24 which was basically at the beginning of the pandemic.  The band is the brainchild of Mike Raymond who also runs a studio called Reverence Audio out of his house and he builds analog guitar pedals.
I recently read a review that said if you’re into QOTSA & Royal Blood, then you might dig Quiet Crimes, I’d have to agree!  Dig in to their music on Spotify or at their Bandcamp page

The goal of my podcast is to provide people who are passionate about rock with a new and innovative connection to the Canadian Music Industry and the bands and artists they love and support.”
