DTTB Ep. 58 – ANOTHER POWERHOUSE OTTAWA VOCALIST. THIS TIME KILLING ROCK COVER OF ARIANA GRANDE. MUST SEE

Just a couple of weeks ago, in Episode 55 of DTTB I had the band Complicit ft. Ella Wile on vocals for a cover of “Blinding Lights” by The Weekend. Fair to say, she turned some heads.
Complicit is a side project from Cevilain drummer Andrew Parmalee (Parms). Who happens to run Fill The Void Studios out of his house and is also a music teacher. So, he knows what’s what when it comes to the Ottawa music scene. Cliff (Cevilain vocalist & guitarist) joins us on the podcast and provides some backup grit (girth?) to the chorus. Cevilain, just released a MASSIVE single with Adam Gontier called WARS. That was featured in Episode 53
This video was released this past Friday, I didn’t know Alanna Sterling before, but I’m glad I do now. They absolutely CRUSH this version of “Positions” by Ariana Grande. If you’re not familiar with the original (I was not), check out the video.
Complicit manages to take these songs and angst them up to 11, so to say. A good song is a good song, it just depends what style you like best.
