If you’ve seen the NETFLIX doc ‘Filthy Rich: The Jefferey Epstein Story’ you knew it was a matter of time before Ms. Maxwell was busted.

Ghislaine Maxwell, the British socialite and heiress who became a confidante of disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein and was later accused of involvement in his alleged sexual crimes, has been arrested by the FBI, two senior law enforcement sources tell News 4 New York.

She was arrested in Bedford, New Hampshire around 8:30 a.m. on charges she conspired with Epstein to sexually abuse minors, and is expected to appear in a federal court later today, the sources say.

Spokespeople for the FBI and the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Manhattan declined to comment.

The daughter of media baron Robert Maxwell, Ghislaine was a one-time girlfriend of Epstein’s and was at the high-flying investor’s side for decades.

But she was also alleged to have helped Epstein groom teen girls for sex with the rich and powerful. One of those teens, Virginia Roberts Giuffre, leveled that charge against Maxwell in a 2015 defamation suit, as have a number of other women.

This YouTube Video based on the special has a great breakdown of Ghislaine’s involvement in Epstein’s pedophile ring which lasted for 30 years.  30 years and hundreds of young girls every year were contacted and groom by Maxwell who also took part in the assault of these women which always started with a foot rub.

Her arrest is a big deal to dozens of Epstein’s former victims like Virginia Giuffre along with every other brave woman who’s come forward.  It means they’ll get to see Ghislaine in court as long as she doesn’t die under suspicious circumstances like Jeff did and that means everything to the victims who’ve put their reputation front and center to get closure.
