I don’t like Erin O’Toole’s politics so it gives me no great pleasure to defend this tweet he put out yesterday.

The response from those who engaged in identity politics was predictable and it all came from angry lefties who need to hate to feel alive.
Erin O’Toole might be an ineffective leader a represent the worst of the Conservative Party, but are you really going to use his tweets to insinuate his lovely wife Rebecca is under his misogynist’s thumb for woke Twitter points?
So what? She gave him a beer after a run and he used it as a photo op. That’s not misogyny, that’s a partner being nice to their partner.
Some people queried his decision making to have a pint instead of water (which is fair) and some shit on him because of his terrible poll numbers, but suggesting his wife is a kept woman because you hate the man or conservatives just means you’re the worst of the worst: A virtue signalling dick bag who engages in identity politics for props from your woke tribe of morons.
Don’t vote for him based on his inability to lead, not because he posted a pic of himself holding a post-run beer.
A vote for O’Toole is a vote for a born-again Christian who serves Jesus and conservative interests, not Canadians.
