And we’re back folks. Fantasy Football season is here. It didn’t take long for managers to go scorched earth online when Sean McVay decided to bench Cam Akers and tell Matthew Stafford to not throw to Allen Robinson. Hell Cam Akers didn’t even see the field until the 2nd quarter.
Cam Akers finished with 3 carries for 0 yards. Sick stat line. Allen Robinson had 1 catch for 12 yards. EVEN BETTER! Both of them were trending on Twitter last night during the game. Fantasy owners were NOT pleased, to say the least.
Anyone who drafted Cam Akers right now

I love NFL Twitter. The Rams offence was not explosive and Cam Akers was far from the #1 back. Even though he was listed as an RB1 on the depth chart.
McVay was asked about it in his post-game presser:
Sean McVay was asked about RB Cam Akers' involvement in the game and said, "we really just didn't get in much of a rhythm tonight." He also mentioned he wanted to get WR Allen Robinson more involved in the offense.

What a liar. He just blew it and Matthew Stafford looked like a CFL QB back there.
Welcome back Fantasy Football and sorry wives and girlfriends we’ll see you in February.
