GAME DAY REPORT: JETS AT MAPLE LEAFS (7pm–CBC)
Hockey night in Burlington. Or whatever it is called.
Welcome to my hometown…..try not to leave a mess.
Back to back games are rare from West to East but that is exactly where we are this evening as the Winnipeg Jets (7-3-1) try to get a win on the road as they take on the Toronto Maple Leafs (7-3-0).
Maple Leafs will dress a similar lineup as to the one that played very well on Thursday night in Winnipeg.
Frederik Andersen with the start.

On the injury front, Travis Dermott took the game day skate but will not dress for the Maple Leafs this evening. Head Coach Mike Babcock will want Dermott to get his conditioning back up to game speed as the young Leafs rearguard suffered an illness for the last week or so.
Look for the Winnipeg Jets to ramp up the physical play against the Leafs this evening at the Scotiabank Centre. If you cannot skate with the Blue and White team from Toronto, clutch/grab and everything you can to slow them down. The Jets will look to emulate the game plan we saw that the St. Louis Blues and Pittsburgh Penguins used to success last week versus Toronto.
Leafs 4-3.
