Source  –  Archaeologists in Turkey have made a discovery which could settle a century-old debate … and disappoint millions of children around the world. 

They have unearthed what they say is likely the tomb of the original Santa Claus, or Saint Nicholas, beneath an ancient church in Demre, southern Turkey.

Demre, previously known as Myra, in Antalya province, is believed to be the birthplace of the 4th-century bishop. 

Cemil Karabayram, the head of Antalya’s Monument Authority, said the shrine was discovered during electronic surveys that showed gaps beneath the church.

“We believe this shrine has not been damaged at all, but it is quite difficult to get to it as there are mosaics on the floor,” Mr Karabayram told the Turkish Hurriyet Daily News. 

He said he is very optimistic about uncovering Saint Nicholas’s remains, but warned it will take some time to scale each tile one by one and remove them as a whole in a mold.

KIDS, KIDS, KIDS.   Santa is alive and well.  This is what Donald Trump would call “Fake News.”  Let me explain.

-The Turkish gov’t is run by an atheist dictator who doesn’t want any kids to be happy.  He hates toys and candy, and would probably murder Santa if he could catch him.  But he can’t.  No one can.  How do you think he can deliver all those toys and shit.  Seriously!

-If that IS Santa’s tomb, who cares?  Do the gifts keep coming?  YUP.  Especially if you’re from a broken home.  “SANTA” comes twice to overcompensate for the grief your parents have caused you by Daddy/Mommy leaving because your mom/dad is unbearable.  It’s Science so enjoy the bad parenting.  You deserve it.

-Santa passes down being Santa to other people when he gets too old.  Its called “MAGIC” and each new Santa gets that magic to pass on to the next Santa.  Don’t be surprised if they find a boatload of other dead Santa’s.  If this was the original St Nick and he kacked 1800 years ago, you can bet your little ass there are between 20 to 40 dead Santa’s out there so chill out.
