Goran Dragic: “I’m Sorry I Shit All Over The Raptors And Toronto Before Setting Foot In The City

I guess when you get replaced by a future Hall Of Famer then get shipped as part of a sign and trade, you get a little butt hurt.
Yesterday Dragic said he was too good to play for a young Raptors team and that he had ‘higher ambitions.
The @Raptors have an NBA Championship, do you have one of those @Goran_Dragic ?

After his comments hit social media, Raptors reporter Michael Grange went into full damage control mode on behalf of MLSE. He spoke to Dragic, who walked it all back, and the Raptors’ media arm managed to save the day.
Translation: “I still totally don’t want to play for the Raptors and I’m fucking mortified my private comments made it into the public sphere.
“You can ask a bunch of people how nice I am! I swear, I’m nice!”
“THEY love their team…”
“THEY should be proud…”
“I’m a professional!!”
To have an issue with a team or a group you’ve never met means you’re not really a pro, Goran. It means you’re too entitled to play for Masai Ujiri and you just did him, this team, and its fans a MAJOR fucking favor.
It’s kind of like overhearing your new girlfriend’s phone conversation where she rips you and you weren’t supposed to hear it. It’s a blessing in disguise that saves you from years of fucking misery.
Goran Dragic is too old and not good enough to play for the Raptors, btw. His worth to this team lives with his expiring contract and maybe that objective reality is too much for the NBA veteran to handle.
Join me in wishing him the best anywhere but here.
