Here Are Your Best Bets For CFL Week 7

Griff Bordignon Jul 18, 2024

I know no article last week, but we went 3-1.

Ottawa VS Edmonton

Last week, It was Edmonton VS Ottawa and now the battle has turned to the Nation’s Capital. After a Lewis Ward walk-off FG, Edmonton fired Chris Jones after a 0-5 start and heartbreak after heartbreak, the team looks to turn a new leaf as offensive coordinator Jarious Jackson takes over as head coach. Last week, I picked Ottawa to win as an underdog even though Edmonton was winless, now call me crazy but a head coach bump in football is a real thing, Edmonton ML at -105.

Fun Bet: Eugene Lewis O 63.5 Yds at -114.

Saskatchewan VS Winnipeg

The Banjo Bowl preview is 1 of 2 rivalry games happening this weekend, Friday night in Ridertown will be doozy as these two rivals link up. Winnipeg is looking better with 2 wins in a row after starting 0-4 and Saskatchewan lost their first game of the year to BC last week. This game is somewhat of a revenge game as last year’s Banjo Bowl ended with Winnipeg losing in OT and they would love nothing more than to beat their rivals in the rival’s building—Winnipeg -3.5 at -110.

Fun Bet: Brady Oliveira O 68.5 Rsh Yds at -114.

Hamilton VS Toronto

The QEW Rivalry renews in Steeltown on Saturday night, sidebar, I will be there covering the game for Crier. Now back to the game, Hamilton is coming off a bye and looking to avoid a 0-6 start, meanwhile, Toronto is 3-2 on the year and broke Montreal’s undefeated season last week. Now these teams and fans do not like one another and would love nothing more than to beat the other and the fans from the 416 would love to make the trip down the QEW and return with a W. My rule is to fade Hamilton until they prove us wrong and I will do just that. Toronto -2.5 at -122.

Fun Bet: Damonte Coxie ATD at +185.

Calgary VS BC

Now, here is one interesting game, on one side of the field, you have Calgary a team that is 2-3 and who has hung in tough with some of the CFL’s best. Then on the other side of the field, you have BC a team whose play on the field roars loud like its namesake, the Lion. This is a game where I think we get fireworks, like some of Sundays past have shown that no Sunday scaries and just Sunday touchdowns. Lock of the week is CGY VS BC O 52.5 Pts at -110.

Fun Bet: Justin McInnis O 94.5 Yds at -114.

Happy Betting.

Hi, my name is Griff and I'm a complete sports nut. I love to play sports, watch sports and most importantly bet on sports too. If I'm not watching or betting on sports, you can find me on the golf course, between the pipes as your average beer league goaltender. Although sports take up most of my life, I also love spending time with my two dogs, streaming usually a 90's Simpson's or attempting to read more books.
