Well, a 3-1 Labour Day week has come and gone and we’re on to week 14 of the CFL season.
The week starts off on Friday night with one game, where third place in the east is up for grabs as the Hamilton Ti-cats travel to Ottawa to take on the lowly Redblacks. Everything in this game should scream Ottawa, a bye week, they’re at home, Hamilton is played and got embarrassed at home Monday afternoon versus Toronto in which they allowed AJ Ouellette to throw a touchdown plus they have to travel especially on a very short week. To add to all of these our friends at Betstamp show that 37% of the money is on the Tabbies and +4.5 is -115 on Proline + so that is the bet folks.
Saturday we’ve got a tripleheader of action because obviously, the CFL won’t play on a Sunday again till Grey Cup Sunday. We start by the lake as Toronto returns home to host Montreal and well if it isn’t broke don’t fix it. The over is 52.5 at -110 via Bet MGM. Don’t overthink it, folks.
The Banjo Bowl travels to Winnipeg as it is a rematch between the Bombers and Riders, The big story of last week’s game was the headbutt seen around Canada and even though Pete Robinson was suspended for Saturdays contest, the whole incident left Zach Collaros pissed off and fuming. Winnipeg is -8.5 at Bet Rivers with -110 odds and I picture a Zach Collaros masterclass at IG Field.
The battle of Alberta goes north as it is Edmonton’s turn to host this CFL rivalry, When it comes to betting this game, I don’t know what to expect, both teams have had flashes of good but quite a bit of bad, the spread is 2.5 on either side of the ball and I don’t trust it, so let’s end our CFL weekend with excitement and bet the over of 48.5 -110 from Proline +. Let’s have a weekend and happy betting.

Hi, my name is Griff and I'm a complete sports nut. I love to play sports, watch sports and most importantly bet on sports too. If I'm not watching or betting on sports, you can find me on the golf course, between the pipes as your average beer league goaltender. Although sports take up most of my life, I also love spending time with my two dogs, streaming usually a 90's Simpson's or attempting to read more books.
