Here Are Your CFL Best Bets For Week 21

Griff Bordignon Oct 27, 2023

Well, folks, the end of the road for the 2023 regular season. I know these articles started in week 7 but next year I will do them from the jump of the season. Also, we still have three weeks of playoff football left so I have three more to go but this is it for the regular season.

Friday night we start in Calgary as they host the best in the west, Winnipeg Blue Bombers and I will keep it simple. I like Calgary here, Winnipeg has nothing to play for and Calgary is going to be gearing up for a battle next Saturday in Vancouver VS the BC Lions.

Please note the next two games’ odds aren’t available so I will be writing about who I think will win these games.

Saturday gets us started with a preview of next weekend’s Eastern Semi-Final, as Hamilton travels to Montreal for the first but not the only time this year. This game is going to be a feeling out for both sides who last clashed in August and Montreal is up 2-0 in the season series, however, Hamilton has been the scrappy underdog all season and Montreal has won 4 straight since Toronto beat them back to back but Hamilton has nothing to lose and there isn’t anything more dangerous in sports than a team playing with nothing to lose.

15-2 can become 16-2 tying the best record in CFL history with the 1989 shout-out Taylor Swift Edmonton Eskimos as the Toronto Argonauts go to play the lowly Ottawa Redblacks in Ottawa for the first and only time this season. Toronto has nothing to play for and wants to get to the post season healthy and in tact meanwhile Ottawa wants to end on a high and even though Ottawa is playing their last game of the year, Toronto is the better team and I think Toronto ties history and wins the game.

Hi, my name is Griff and I'm a complete sports nut. I love to play sports, watch sports and most importantly bet on sports too. If I'm not watching or betting on sports, you can find me on the golf course, between the pipes as your average beer league goaltender. Although sports take up most of my life, I also love spending time with my two dogs, streaming usually a 90's Simpson's or attempting to read more books.
