It could mean he resigned or it could mean he has been taken out by Mike Pence and the old 25th amendment or it’s a mistake. It’s his government and State Department so it may be a mistake…
It says his term ended at 7:39 pm tonight which is still 3.5 hours away. Weird AF.
It might also be a disgruntled employee – Trump’s standard excuse when something bad around him happens.

Let’s see. Can you imagine if he’s toast already and how insane his minions of neckbearded below-average intelligence reject militia will be?
I said it yesterday, I think this week is going to be an absolute gong show, way worse than last weeks attempted murder of Mike Pence and others who Trumpy hates. but I think we see them literally drag him out of the Oval Office in handcuffs. The more time goes by the harder I find it to believe that a sitting president incited a mob to kidnap and possibly kill his opponents. That literally happened in the United States Of America. They HAVE to do something even if this State Department announcement isn’t legit. Aske Germany how that goes.
The second world war could have been avoided if Hitler was executed in 1923 after the Beer Hall Putsch but they didn’t, Hitler wrote Mein Kampf from a comfy jail cell and came back with a passion in the mid-’30s and, Yeah. So that’s where we are.
