I spent $1000 on an exploded Lamborghini NFT….

and it kinda looks like a penis.

Hi Dean Blundell website friends. My name is Scott McGregor ( @scottrades ). Maybe you’ve seen me chat with Dean and Lochlin about Bitcoin, Crypto and the Stock Market. Well I’m here now and do I have a story for you..

A few weeks ago I found out about this crazy NFT Drop where an artist named shl0ms took a perfectly good Lamborghini Huracan, parked it in the desert, rammed a bunch of explosives inside of it and blew it to smithereens. Then they took all of the pieces from the aftermath and turned them into 888 beautifully filmed NFTs. And the Lambo was a nice one too…

shl0ms Lambo before it exploded

Like any Crypto Bro, I have dreams of owning a beautiful Lambo that I can tell my friends I bought with magical internet money. But alas, it’s been a rough few months in CryptoLand and so those dreams are put on hold until BTC can get back above $69,420 USD.

What’s the next best thing?  shl0ms enters the chat

Now, I’ll be honest, I’m not a huge “NFT Guy” but I love a great story and this was by far one of the coolest ones I’ve heard about in quite some time. You see a lot of NFTs are just random cartoon characters that are pumped by celebrities so they can feel relevant with what is really happening in Crypto. Apart from a few first movers, most of the “celebs in crypto” are just pumpers and in my opinion will leave retail investors (you and me) holding the bag, but I digress…

So after going through the bidding process and having to up my bid a few times, I woke up the morning after the auction started and was alerted that I won $CAR #715. If you want to see the claim process you can watch it HERE, but I wasn’t able to SEE what my NFT looked like for a few days after the auction.  As it turns out the piece l got kinda looks like a…..(watch video)

Some of the pieces for the $CAR NFT Drop are now selling for up to 10X what they were purchased for. I had an offer for my NFT for just over $2300 USD which was over 2X my “investment” but I turned it down. I’m not sure what I’ll do with my $CAR just yet but I can tell you, it’s a great conversation starter.

See you in the Metaverse…
