It was playtime for Pierre Poilievre during today’s Question Period

Jason Pugh Sep 19, 2024

Today, Pierre Poilievre decided that instead of actually doing his job by asking questions relevant to the administration of government, he would get up and blurt out statements, insults, or questions to other parties.

Here he is, not asking a question and attacking Bloc Québécois leader Yves-François Blanchet:

Since he didn’t ask an actual question, there was no response from the Liberals.

So, Pierre kept up his little play instead of doing his job. This time, choosing to childishly go after NDP leader Jagmeet Singh:

Which led to Speaker Fergus intervening:

Conservatives, having no respect for the Canadian public, kept it up.

So Speaker Fergus, once again, had to intervene:

After QP, NDP MP Peter Julian rose on a point of order:

“Today, Mr. Speaker, what did we see? Vitriol, insults against the leaders of the NDP and the Bloc Québécois and other members.” – NDP MP Peter Julian

Anyone who watches Question Period knows that, for Pierre Poilievre and the Conservative Party of Canada, it’s all about shooting rage-farming clips to fundraise off of.

Pierre gets his staffers to cut up these clips to make it look like he always gets the last word. So, as ‘X’ user ThunderbayEd used to do, I upload as many unedited clips as possible to show how Pierre Poilievre lies by omission.

Pierre Poilievre, or any MP/staffer, shouldn’t be allowed to edit or alter clips from QP that change the context. Period.

However, how will Pierre Poilievre edit today’s performance to make it look like he got the last word when he didn’t ask any questions?

Are they just going to say they left LPC MPs speechless?

It’s always childish games with the carnies of Pierre Poilievre’s rage clown circus.
