It’s Official. We’re Fucked.

I know it’s only 655 people, but that’s an open interpretation of voter sentiment. The week before Trudeau calls a snap election hoping to take advantage of Covid19 mail-in votes, 44% of us know none of the men running for the highest office in Canada are worthy of running a fucking gas station.

Today the Conservatives and NDP were roasted for begging Trudeau to NOT call an election because they know they’ll lose and the conservatives stand to lose BIG.

I don’t want to talk about Blackface McGee or that residential school lovin’ son-of-a-gun, Erin O’Toole or TikTok bad lawyer turned right fighter, Jagmeet Singh.

I’d like to talk about who Canadians CLEARLY favor in this election.

NO ONE.

Almost half of the respondents said there is not one person leading one of Canada’s three main parties that they would vote for in the upcoming and totally unnecessary election.  The three stooges split the rest of the vote three ways.

What we rarely focus on come election time is character.

It requires no character or virtue to call an election for the expressed purpose of gaming the probability of mail-in ballots during the height of the fourth wave of a pandemic.  The Liberal party is using the pandemic as a strategy to grab a few more seats to solidify a majority.

It’s like stealing wallets from dead bodies because you can.

Because the Liberal power grab will work, Conservatives and New Democrats are begging everyone they can to stop the fight before it starts because it’s going to be a slaughter-fest.

What strikes me is how beaten voters are.  We don’t want to vote if we don’t have to.  We’re tired of dodging death and arguing with family members over science no one understands. We’re tired of being disappointed by people who claim they have what it takes to lead Canada into whatever shitty reality they envision according to what’s best for their political future and fortune.

I’ve spent the last 18 months doing the following:

-Shuttling my kids to and from counseling appointments to help them understand the confusion and pandemic-related depression.

-Building a business with partners who’ve gone bankrupt or just straight up not paid us or disappeared (see Black Rose and Teal Valley).

-Wearing masks and making sure my kids wear them while sourcing any vaccination appointments I could find

-Writing and curating content for DeanBlundell.com and 80 other podcasts for 12-16 hours a day

The way I look at this snap election is simple:

We are witnessing the selfish depravity of people and parties whose only desire is to bolster/save their power centers and they are using the worst health crisis a century to do it.

Justin Trudeau doesn’t give a fuck if you and I are exposed to the plague.  Who calls a federal election a year early in the heat of a fourth wave while not mandating vaccines or passports?  A guy who values power and control more than human life.

It’s called a ‘receipt’.

O’Toole and the Conservatives don’t want an election and are citing the pandemic because they know they’ll lose.  Meanwhile, his party isn’t demanding vaccine mandates or vaccine passports because he doesn’t want to turn off his hillbilly base.

Jagmeet just realized he’s spent the last three years making TikTok videos instead of developing sane domestic and foreign policies, so he’s begging the Governor-General to stop the election before it starts.

That’s why half of us won’t vote for any of these fucking mooks.  They lack the most important character that real leaders display.

Virtue.

None of these three career politicians display the kind of character Canadians can be proud of on the world stage.  They’re all playing the Pandemic while we’re trying to live with it, protect our kids and not go broke so helping them out in any regard isn’t at the top of my list of things to do during a fucking health crisis.

Our ancestors didn’t die for your right to vote, they fought for your right to express yourself and there’s never been a better time to demand our leaders be accountable for those sacrifices.

Instead of voting for the least-most offensive party, voice your opinion on the values and intentions of the people leading those parties.

Get after the merits of their selfishness and call out the nuclear lack of respect for our vote and personal wellness.

We’re trying to catch our breath and Trudeau is counting on that apathy to benefit him as he marches toward another term of virtue, signaling with his stunt wife by his side.

O’Toole wanted an election until he realized he’s the captain of a boat filled with evangelical zealots who hate gay people and thought residential schools were meant to educate.

Jagmeet Singh?  He’s too busy with TikTok to take you and me seriously.

He looked up from his phone 2 weeks ago and shit his pants because he’s a woefully pathetic politician who ignored the job because he’s just in it for clout.

In a sense, they all are which explains their current positions.

I don’t remember being this disinterested in supporting any man or woman for office.  We’ve been used, played, lied to, dismissed, baited, and abused by this generation of politicians.  Now they are begging for our support and that’s the part I can’t get over.

We need new parties full of experts to lead, not failed drama teachers, shitty soldiers, and externally motivated out-of-work lawyers.

I’m not voting for a man who wants to steal our freedom of speech, who made a habit of wearing blackface in the late ’90s.

I’m not voting for a man who thinks the genocide at residential schools was misunderstood

I’m not voting for a man who’s begging the GG to stop an election before it starts (she has no power to do so which the leader of a national political party should already know).

I’m fucking sick of this and apparently, you are too.
