While major corporations around the world offerred up millions of dollars to support charities in Ukraine, Epic Games asked the players of one of their most popular games to support through micro-transactions. And the players of Fortnite have responded in an amazing and unprecedent way raising over $100 MILLION DOLLARS so far and today (April 3rd) is the last day for you to contribute.
WHAT PURCHASES COUNT TOWARDS SUPPORTING PEOPLE AFFECTED BY THE WAR IN UKRAINE?
All real-money Fortnite purchases made between March 20, 2022 and April 3, 2022 will be distributed. This includes V-Buck packs, Fortnite Crew, gifted Battle Passes, and cosmetic packs such as the Voidlander Pack sold for real money. Retail store purchases of in-game cosmetics and V-Bucks cards will also be included if they are redeemed in-game during this window.
So if you’re a Fortnite a player (or one of your kids plays) and you’ve been thinking about getting a sweet skin or gifting someone a Battle Pass do it TODAY instead of tomorrow. It’ll mean way more today.
