The NBA 2K ratings are a big deal to NBA players. Almost all of them grew up playing 2K and one day dreamt about being in the game or gaining the ultimate achievement of being a cover athlete. So, when their ratings are announced yearly, some take it VERY personally. Enter Jamal Murray and his 84 Overall.

Even Rex Chapman agrees and looking at his stats from last season it’s hard to understand why he would start so low.
All of that PLUS coming off a Championship run where he was critical to the success of the team.
To put some perspective around this, Spencer Dinwiddie starts at an 83, Nikola Vucevic 83, Demar Derozan 87, C.J. Mucullom 84, & Chris Paul 87. Respectfully, I’d take Murray over all of these players in a second.
I think the fine people at 2K owe Jamal Murray an apology.
