Jets’ Goalie Prospect Mikhail Berdin Scored A Goal Then Proceeded To Nail The Celly

Mikhail Berdin was drafted in the 6th round in 2016 because he’s a big athletic goalie with good instincts. Apparently, he can handle the puck too.

The Russian tendy snipes on the open net to give the Sioux Falls Stampede (USHL) some insurance. Then he decides to finish off the celly in style and joins in on the ‘bench dabs’ for good measure.

It’s weird that more goalies don’t try this, sure beats having your 6th D-Man ring one off the glass for icing, at least give it a chance…Berdin got his chance and didn’t disappoint.
