Back when I used to listen to sports talk radio, I’d get giddy when I heard that Gibbons would be a guest. His blunt, unrehearsed, I don’t give a shit answers were so refreshing. Pro athletes and coaches are boring. Gibby was anything but.
I asked Dean Blundell what it was like to interview Gibby, and Dean said, “It’s like he cares less than you about everything because he knows something you don’t. And he does”.
I don’t fully understand what the fuck Dean means by that, but it’s actually the perfect Gibby answer.
We also need to acknowledge that he didn’t care that @johngibbons was taken, so he just threw the 05 at the end. I’m also down with Gibby using #GibbyTheBest because he is.
