Josh Allen Throwing Up Before Games “Hungry Warriors Are Gonna Fight Harder”

You may not notice it during the games but the AFC East animal that is Josh Allen still gets butterflies in his stomach before every start. This isn’t anything new for MVP candidate but it is something that has only happened while in the NFL.
Allen chronicled the story with Von Miller, segments of which can be found on Bleacher Report. He spoke about his time at Wyoming. Things didn’t feel right. He would throw a pass and he just felt off. He described it as a “gaggy sensation”, dry heaving on the sidelines or on the field.
“I get this weird gaggy sensation. … I’m a creature of habit.”

According to Allen’s recollection, vomiting started before 2019’s preseason game in Detroit. This was after Allen’s rookie season was completed. He says he is a creature of habit. The growth since Allen’s rookie season has been astronomical. His teammates see him as the unquestioned leader of the franchise. Specifically speaking on his pre-game ritual, he says he tried to think of it positively.

Allen has even incidentally recruited other players into the same habit, although he does admit sometimes it’s just him. While you may not appreciate what he does before a game, admitting this certainly speaks to his honestly and integrity as a person. While Allen may see himself as a warrior, his teammates continue to see him as their captain.
