Justin Smoak gone to the Brewers, but guess who could be coming back?

News broke early Thursday morning from MLB insiders, as Justin Smoak has signed a one-year deal with the Milwaukee Brewers. Brutal news for some of the Blue Jays faithful, however, maybe the ripple effect will ease the pain…

That’s right folks, there is mutual interest between Edwin, his Parrot, and the Blue Jays to bring back the 1B/DH slugger, on a one-year, team-friendly deal.

Edwin’s the perfect mentor for Vladdy Jr, and he can also supply some protection behind him in the lineup. He belted 34 home runs in 2019, and this number could increase if he’s playing 81 games at the Dome.

The Jays will miss the glove of Justin Smoak, no doubt about that, however, seeing the Parrot again will be a site worth smiling about for Jays fans.
