Kawhi Leonard Finally Speaks. Still Doesn’t Acknowledge He’s A Raptor.

Aug 9, 2018

Source  –  During his six seasons in San Antonio, Leonard was a two-time All-Star and two-time Defensive Player of the Year, in addition to winning an NBA championship and NBA Finals MVP in 2014. The 27-year old forward only appeared in nine games last season due to injury, but all signs point to him being fully recovered and ready to go when the 2018-19 season gets underway.

Leonard’s first home game as a member of the Toronto Raptors will come on Friday, October 19, when they host the Boston Celtics in a nationally televised contest airing on ESPN.

It’s called being a man Kawhi.  Be a man and admit you are a Toronto Raptor and everyone here will settle down.  I know Kawhi is quiet but he quite literally has not publically talked about the trade or even acknowledged he’s a Raptor and it’s almost been a month since DeRozan was shipped To San Antonio.

That’s gotta be comforting to Raptor fans.  You trade the only Franchise player this team has had EVER who is woven into the fabric of the city and responsible for the pride of a winning team for a guy who won’t publically admit he’s part of the team.

Good times.  Unless the Raptors changed their name to ‘The Next Chapter’, then I take it all back.
