Leafs Win And Kasperi Kapanen Is Better Than William Nylander So He Can Suck It Till Dec 1.

Leafs won in San Jose last night, and I came to the conclusion William Nylander can pound salt until Dec 1.

Kapanen is ‘next man up’ personified. He has 14 points in 19 games and of his eight goals, 2 of which were GWG’s. Last nights shortie proved to be the game-winner on a breakaway in the second, and no one catches Kapanen on a breakaway.
Kapanen’s emergence has been incredible to watch this year. Playing in the shadow of uber baby William Nylanders family imposed exile hasn’t affected Kasperi in the slightest. He played a season-high 20 minutes last night and didn’t need Matthews which his success has been improperly tied to and leads the team in pp/pk t.o.i. to boot.
Nylander wouldn’t get a sniff on the PK and depending on his level of interest on any given night isn’t nearly as consistently effective on a nightly basis.
Bottom line? Kapanen is a better all-around player, and his play has been a huge load of fans/management shoulders during Nylander’s holdout.
Willy may be worth 8 million somewhere, but not in Toronto anymore, and Nylander can blame Kapanen for that.
Trade that good looking young winger for a Jake Muzzin and a draft pick and let’s get on with our lives. Nylander is dead to me.
