LOUIS CK’s New Standup Act Was Leaked And It Probably Won’t Help His Reputation.

Dec 31, 2018

Listen to it and tell me what you think…

I should consult people on the do’s and don’t’s after committing career suicide.

Do # 1: Apologize by living a more woke existence

Don’t # 1: Do a gay voice when ethering the transgender community in your second show back after being outed for jerking off on people without permission.

Don’t # 2: Mock survivors of America’s worst school shooting, ever.

It’s simple math, really.

If you have to go into a comedic area like Trans or nonbinary gender identification, don’t.  You will never have the same leeway you had when you were the king of the comedic hill opining on how much pedophiles love kids on SNL.  I still have no idea how he got away with it, but he did.

Right???

Can you imagine saying or hearing that now??  No Chance.

I think Louis is a funny, funny man.  His observational humor is outstanding and his timing is terrific.  He used to be self-effacing with his humor but mocking the trans or ‘nonbinary’ community isn’t funny.  It was but it isn’t anymore.  It was because of the jocular bullshit the trans community has put up with in silence but in the last 7 years, I’d like to think we’ve woken up a bit.

I dunno what Louis CK is hanging on to with that act.  I don’t know if the dude is angry there was a market correction on being sexually inappropriate at the height of his career but wading back into comedy by shitting on everyone struggling with gender identity is the opposite of smart.

The whole set is here.  After listening to it I literally have no Idea if he’ll be able to do a show north of the Mason Dixon Line.

Interesting how my mindset has changed over shit like this.  I would have been a Louis CK bumper sticker supporting son-of-a-bitch 5 years ago.

Is there a place in Comedy like this?  Comedy has always been ruthless to every group.  Is the Trans/LGBTQ Community exempt?
