Major Announcement: Dean’s “Election Night Super Show!” 7 pm Tonight!

Ladies and Gentlemen. We are pleased to announce that tonight’s election will finally get the coverage it deserves.

We’ve opted to funnel all the hate and dysfunction into a drunken live show with people who’ve never hosted an election show in their lives, and we’re here for it.

Trudeau, O’Toole, and Jagmeet took turns ignoring foreign policy, covid or abortion, monetary policy questions in favour of gaslighting or vilifying whoever the flavour of the day might be.

‘Erin O’Toole will move to make abortion illegal!”  (He might)

“Justin Trudeau wants to make free speech illegal!” (He’s gonna try)

“Jagmeet Singh will put affordable housing and group homes in affluent neighbourhoods.” (He definitely wants to)

No one has earned your vote, they’re all just trying to scare us into not voting for the other guy and that’s been the most insulting part of election 44 in the Great White North.

Trudeau has spent the last 2 years covering up criminal activity between himself and WE, SNC Lavelin, and the Winnipeg/Wuhan ‘Gain Of Function’ debacle.

O’Toole has spent the last 2 years telling us Canada has been taken over by non-believers (Immigrants) and doesn’t think we need to get vaccinated.

Jagmeet has been busy doing TikTok videos.

Every party has spent 6 weeks and hundreds of millions (including 600m in taxpayer $) telling us about the evil behind our vote instead of asking for our support by connecting with us where we are in an election that should NOT be happening.

The Kicker?  We WILL be getting a minority government.  It will probably be a Liberal minority (again) and we WILL be voting AGAIN in a year or so.  Since the Liberals will probably win, they’ll need NDP support to form Gov’t, and Jagmeet likes having that kind of influence, so he’ll prop up the winning party.

But what about us? You and me.

What about the health of a sick nation being forced to choose a new direction for the country during a national state of emergency?  Again?  We’ve put together a crack team to cover it all and you’re welcome.

We’re the ones paying the tax of a bureaucratic power struggle that has NOTHING to do with us.  We have been told when to stay home, get vaccinated, get groceries, or who we can or can’t hug, and how we should or shouldn’t live.  It’s patently unfair to demand our participation in a popularity contest/power grab among Canada’s elite but it’s a fucking JOKE to tell us how dangerous it is to vote our conscience in the process.

No matter who you vote for this time, don’t let anyone tell you your vote is a ‘waste’.  Don’t allow strangers or politically motivated friends to tell you what who you voted for really means or who you ‘should’ vote for.

Even with a majority, the world won’t end if O’Toole and the conservatives win.  We’re not going to turn into androgynous humans if Trudeau wins.  Jagmeet isn’t going to force you to sell your home and donate the proceeds to  “Mother Canada” if the NDP wins.

We will still have to get through the same shit we’re going through now and you still need to be accountable to your own well being so don’t give it away to politicians and parties who don’t give a fuck about you or your quality of life.

We’ll be doing this again in a year anyway so look at this as a chance to send a warning to ALL of them.  To me, that’s what this next minority says to those selfish fucks who parade around as public servants.

It doesn’t matter WHO you vote for.  No matter who wins, we’ll still be here tomorrow.  We will have another Minority government and you WILL be voting in a pandemic again in 18-16 months according to past precedent and conditional probability so RELAX and enjoy OUR election night coverage starting at 7 pm EVERYWHERE.  We’re encouraging all of our correspondents to drink/smoke the drink/smoke of their choice AND I’ll be wearing a blazer.
