Mark Andre Fleury is unflappable. He’s been a spare part several times over the past 5 years of his hall of fame career and all he does is smile then take his shit back.
After losing in OT to Colorado to go down 0-2 in the series, Fleury’s daughter penned this heartfelt letter to her dad you have to see to believe.
She can’t spell worth a shit yet, but that’s the stuff right there.
Kids are a a cure all for a guy like Marc Andre Fleury. The reason he continues to overcome adversity? Compared to his family, hockey is just something he does to pay the bills.
Every player lucky enough to play with Fleury has the same opinion of him.
His smile is the same depsite the score.
His world class work ethic is matched by his positivity.
He never seems to have a bad day.
You’ll never see him in a bar fight.
He treats the janitors the same way he treats Wayne Gretzky.

As weird as it may be, Marc Andre Fleury has figured out that t’s easier to be a good human than it is to be an entitled selfish asshole and because he’s a good dude, his kids like him and write letters to their dad when he has a tough day at the office.
I hope she has a lot of crayons because her dad’s gonna have a tough week.
