Mark Lanegan and Wesley Eisold are releasing “Plague Poems”. Good timing. The collection includes 23 poems about love written by each. They wrote the poems in February and March of 2020.

Eisold said, “This is Mark’s first collection of poetry, and on my end, these are the poems I’ve always wanted to write but couldn’t until now. Undoubtedly you will understand why once it’s read.”

Eisold is also the singer/writer for Cold Cave and American Nightmare and has previously released “Deathbeds” and “Thieves Of Youth”. Lanegan, known for his work with Screaming Trees and Queens of the Stoneage has written “I Am The Wolf” and “Sing Backwards And Weep”.

“Plague Poems” will ship on June 1 from Heartworm Press.

Lanegan has a way with the words. I’m a big fan. Who is your favourite writer?
