Mark Zuckerberg Wants You To Know He And His Electric Surf Board Are Better Than You

Happy 4th of July from the man who helped ruin the internet, Facebook boss, Mark Zuckerberg.
If we could harness the sheer power of his lack of self awareness, we could end America’s dependence on fossil fuels. #July4th pic.twitter.com/CMDell2EZE

That’s Zuck on an electric surfboard he helped fund, ripping around a lake he probably owns and had built by interns, loaded with bionic fish he’s been working on in his spare time.
If I didn’t hate Facebook as much as I do, I’d probably write about how refreshing it is to see one of the world’s richest people take joy in a simple pleasure. I’d say “that’s where people find themselves” extolling the virtues of the mundane while talking about how down-to-earth Mark Zuckerberg is.
However, Mark Zuckerberg is singularly responsible for destroying the lives of billions of miserable Facebook users and lonely soccer moms so he can get fucked. The only thing Facebook users get out of flipping through their neighbor’s Hawaiian vacation photos is anxiety about how much their own lives must suck compared to the lives in those vacation photos.
The problem is we never broadcast our worst. You’ll never see the same mom playing beach volleyball with their kids, do a few lines of coke before her 6 pm dinner reservation. You won’t see pictures of the dad passed out drunk in his spaghetti or photos of their sun-kissed kids walking out of their ‘First Therapy Session’!
Facebook was built to magnify fake news and presentational living and drives clinical anxiety in 90% of its users who are too busy comparison-living to notice how fucked up they are.
Oh, and when they’re not making you feel like garbage, they’re selling your private information for BILLION$.
Be smart. Tell Zuckerberg to tale that American flag and shove it by deleting that FB account.
Your central nervous system will thank you.
