MLB Network calls the Blue Jays the “ultimate team”

You know the Toronto Blue Jays are lighting the league up when they get featured on an American sports talk show. In this case, MLB Network had a panelist quartet explaining all of reasons why this ballclub is so great.

As Jays fans, we already knew all of this. But it sure feels great to hear it from some baseball personalities South of the border. And while none of this may be news to you if you’ve been following this team all season, these guys did a good job at providing some real-life baseball knowledge. And the best part is that they break it all down on a miniature diamond. It’s worth a watch.

I think this segment will give Harold Reynolds a bit of a better rap among Canadian baseball fans. Him, Bill Ripken, Dan Plesac, and Cliff Floyd did a fantastic job educating the American baseball crowd about the Toronto Blue Jays and just how damn stacked they are. This ballclub is as well-rounded as it gets and that’s why they’ve been on an absolute tear these past two weeks.

This segment from MLB Network came out Tuesday, following the Jays’ stomping of the first-place Rays in front of a fully vaccinated Rogers Centre crowd for the first time. These guys had another great win yesterday afternoon on the back of Robbie Ray and Bo Bichette, and are gonna be taking on the last-place Minnesota Twins this weekend at home. I can’t wait to keep watching this ballclub beat the crap out of the rest of the league.

One of the reasons why the Blue Jays have been winning ballgames left and right has been their bullpen. Check out my reliever trust rankings published this morning ranking the bullpen arms I feel most confident turning to in these last two weeks of the regular season.
