Montreal isn’t really part of Canada.  Well, technically they are but most of Canada does the old facepalm when we see racist Quebecers acting all hateful.

Quebec is like the deep south in some parts.  Rarely kind to people of South Asian descent, Quebec doesn’t allow religious symbols to be worn in public by Judges, Lawyers, School Principals or public servants who carry weapons.

If you’re a woman in a burka or hijab in Quebec, you can’t vote or see a medical professional unless you remove your face covering.

Plus, he’s an old white dickhead who thinks the turban is disrespectful to some unwritten way of life he’s carved in that shitty province.

I’m still voting for Jane Philpott but Mr. Singh’s grace and character are leadership qualities I wouldn’t mind having in a Prime Minister.

His brother, Gurratan was accosted by some honkey a few weeks ago raving about Sharia Law and Turbans too.  Like Jagmeet, Gurratan handled it like a champ.
