Must See: Auston Matthews And Mitch Marner’s Cameo In ‘The Nutcracker’ Was Hilarious

Playing hockey in Toronto has a lot of downfalls.
Some free agents don’t even pick up the phone when the Maple Leafs call.
There’s too much pressure, it’s a hockey hotbed of hell, it’s a fishbowl, too many media members, the list could go on for miles.
The same can’t be said for two Leafs picks.
Auston Matthews and Mitch Marner love Toronto.
They love the Maple Leafs and all the tradition and honour that comes with putting on that crest.
They also love being themselves.
Which is why their performance in the Nutcracker is an epic display of their personalities, and move over Sundin, this easily takes the cake as the best Maple Leafs cameo of all time.
They nailed it and so did Farber with this tweet:
Congratulations to Mitch Marner and Auston Matthews for joining in The Nutcracker fun. At one time in Montreal when an NHL player said he was going to the ballet, he meant Chez Paree.

To note – this video gives you a good sense of the size difference between these two individuals, and also seeing Matthews carrying Marner like that could be a handy chirp if Mitch gets into a slump and Matthews is carrying the team.
“Hey Mitch, I carried you enough at the Ballet, let’s go here”.
