On the Dean Blundell Show he’s been known to advocate for physical violence towards children. He regulary talks about how he would like to harm politicans. He’s an anti-religion advocate, so when I needed a guest to talk parenting this week, I thought of Lochlin Cross.

Anyone who pays attention realizes that at least some of the more extreme things he says are “schtick” and that under that rough exterior is another less rough exterior. That’s the verison I was keen to talk to about parenting.

Loch has raised two incredible, creative, high-performing individuals and one of them is an elite athlete in something other than hockey. I was curious about that experience, the cost, the emotional toll and time commitment. In addition to all that, she’s currently overseas in Hungry, a mere 15hr drive from Ukraine. That’s a lot for a parent to have to think about and Loch was honest and fortheright with his answers. Thank you Loch.
