NFL Best Bets For Week 17

Dec 30, 2023

Happy New Year everyone, Monday sucked as we had our first 0-3 day of the entire season. But we march on.

We start in the city of Brotherly Love once again where the Eagles cost the lowly Arizona Cardinals. The Eagles did get back on track with a win last week but the win didn’t feel like much as the New York Giants nearly erased a 17-point halftime deficit. I feel like this is the get-right game that the Eagles can get against an Arizona defence allowing 26.9 points per game and the team’s last three have allowed 27.3 points per game in the team’s last three contests. As for Philly, at Lincoln Financial Field, the total has gone OVER in 7 of Philadelphia’s last 8 games at home and Arizona’s overs have gone 4-2 in the team’s last six games, Philadelphia is allowing 24.4 points per game, so the total is 48.5 should hit in my opinion.

Leg 2 has us going to the Capital City of Indianapolis where the hot Raiders are taking on a Colts team that is reeling after a bad 29-10 loss to the Cardinals, meanwhile, Vegas beat LA by 42 and took care of Kansas City in Arrowhead on Christmas. This is the recipe for a get-right game for the Colts and a letdown for the Raiders who are hot but are 2-5 away from Las Vegas only winning last week in KC and week 1 against the Denver Broncos, meanwhile the Colts are 5-2 ATS in there last 7 and are a team still in the thick of the AFC playoff picture holding the 7 seed, meanwhile, Vegas has to win out and get help. Advantage Indianapolis -2.5.

We finish in the Windy City where Da Bears are playing Da Falcons. Both teams are coming off wins against the Colts and Cardinals and at 7-8 and 6-9 respectfully, this game is a true loser leaves town game, meaning the loser more than likely won’t make the playoffs. In this game, I am riding a team that I weirdly trust the last few weeks in Da Bears on the moneyline for a few reasons, besides it being the last game at Soldier Field this year. First, Atlanta are 0-5 ATS in their last 5 games when playing on the road against Chicago. Second, Chicago is 4-1 SU in their last 5 games at home and is 4-1 ATS in their last five games. So all signs lean and say, take Da Bears.

For this play, I am using DraftKings Sportsbook where this parlay is +412 and I am playing $15.48 to win “hopefully” $79.35. Happy New Year Betting.

Hi, my name is Griff and I'm a complete sports nut. I love to play sports, watch sports and most importantly bet on sports too. If I'm not watching or betting on sports, you can find me on the golf course, between the pipes as your average beer league goaltender. Although sports take up most of my life, I also love spending time with my two dogs, streaming usually a 90's Simpson's or attempting to read more books.
